  National Construction Manager:
  Objectives:
  Directly responsible for the general management of the entire Construction process on a project. Responsible for the timely completion of all pre-market Construction research and Subcontractor evaluation. This includes but is not limited to RFQ completion and evaluation, contract negotiations and contract pricing determination via the unit price list and model sites. Also responsible for all activities related to successfully achieve Ready for Installation status. A more specific Scope of Work is defined below.
  Scope of Work:
  14. Responsible for localizing and translating the model sites and the model site price list and the unit price list.
  15. Responsible for localizing and translating the templates and written descriptions for the Permit Drawings and Construction Drawings.
  16. Responsible for selecting and determining the availability of towers, air-conditioners, containers, and other project related materials required to complete construction works.
  17. Responsible for determining country and client specific construction standards.
  18. Establishes an organizational structure for the construction department.
  19. Selects and contracts the construction and design subcontractors and personnel.
  20. Organizes training for the Regional Construction Managers, Supervisors and Subcontractors.
  21. Supervises reporting towards the internal ******** management and the Customer.
  22. Successful acceptance of all construction work by the Customer in accordance to the fixed time schedule and the Scope of Work.
  23. Quality supervision and overview of construction process on all sites and all subcontractors. Responsible for equal and high quality standard of civil works.
  24. Supports Construction Supervisors in evaluation of per site costs.
  Interfaces:
  • Reports to the Project Director.
  • Daily interaction and communication required with National Network Planning, National Site Acquisition Manager, National Acceptance / Document Control Manager and National Implementation Manager.
  • Direct reports: Regional Construction Managers, Construction Supervisors, and National Construction Team Assistant.
