Contract / Legal Supervisor
Objectives:
Directly responsible for implementing contract changes for the entire project. Responsible for implementing changes and clarification in all contracts and agreements and for implementing and following procedures for changing these documents as defined by the Business Administration Project Director during the Service Pre-Acquisition Phase. Also responsible to implement the process to implement legal changes on a national, regional and local level. Responsible for managing all legal documents associated with the Customer, Subcontractors, Material Suppliers and Project Rollout activities. Also responsible for tracking all revisions to legal documents, reviewing legal documents, processing them for signature, implementing revised documents in the overall project and Customer processes (with the assistance of the Contract Manager). A more specific Scope of Work is defined below.
Scope of Work:
1. Follows the processes for the Contract / Legal department as defined by the BA Project Director and the Contract Manager during the Service Pre-Acquisition Phase.
2. Complete understanding of legal agreements and the project rollout.
3. Insures Subcontractor Master Files are maintained for all departments.
4. Approves all Subcontract Abstracts produced by the Lease Administrator.
5. Defines standard drop-in language to be used in the Lease Agreement.
6. Reviews all proposed changes to Lease Agreements during rollout.
7. Gives final approval of all documents for signatures within Siemens / Customer.
8. Ensures that the sites are free from all legal problems.
9. Suggests modifications to the standard Lease Agreement and maintains quality standards.
10. Provides field support to Site Acquisition Supervisor or Subcontractors for difficult leasing situations or negotiations.
11. Provides miscellaneous legal support to project during the entire project. This support could include support of claim & change management process, permit process, and construction process.
Interface:
• Reports to the Contract Manager.
• Daily interaction and communication required with the entire Business Administration Team and all National Managers and the Regional Managers
• Direct reports include: All project Contract / Legal assistants.
Qualification Profile:
• One (1) years experience in telecommunications project management, specifically related to Commercial / Cost Controlling matters.
• Experience in managing teams by setting and evaluating objectives.
• Strong decision-making and management skills.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure with tight timeframes.
• Accurate, reliable, self-confident and firm.
• Ability to have a self-confident and firm stance
