Contract Manager:
Objectives:
Directly responsible for insuring all legal documents used on the process adhere to local laws, regulations and Siemens Local Company standards prior to use. The Contract Manager shall also participate in negotiations of all legal issues in the Subcontracts and the Frame Agreements. The Scope of responsibilities will range from completing Agreements / Subcontracts to ensuring the Lease Agreement and all required Supporting Documentation required to make them valid are complete. The Contract Manager will also be responsible to make sure the Customer Contract is clearly defined to the project team and that all Claim, Change Order, Risk and Customer Notificaiton processes are implemented and executed during the Project Realization Phase. Also will participate in various legal issues as the arise on the project. A more specific Scope of Work is defined below.
Scope of Work:
1. Reviews the Customer Contract during Project Start Up and implements the Business Administration processes defined by the Business Administration Project Director during the Service Pre-Acquisition phase.
2. Updates all Claim, Change Order, Risk and Customer Notification processes based on actual conditions in the Customer Contract.
3. Provide training on Claim, Change Order, Risk and Customer Notification processes.
4. Responsible for interfacing with Service, Sales and the Customer to resolve all open, disputed or unclear issues relating to the Customer Contract.
5. Directly responsible to manager the activities of each Supervisor responsible for Claim, Change Order and Risk Management.
6. Reviews, localizes and approves all legal agreements, easements, and subcontracts during Project Start Up.
7. Negotiation of Subcontractor Contracts during Project Start Up.
8. Insures Subcontractor Master Files are maintained for all departments.
9. Approves all Subcontract Abstracts produced by the Lease Administrators for use in the field.
10. Defines standard drop-in or language to be used in the Lease Agreement.
11. Gives final approval of all documents for signatures within Siemens / Customer and ensures that the site is free from all legal problems.
12. Provides miscellaneous legal support to project during the entire project.
Interfaces:
• Reports to the Business Administration Project Director.
• Daily interaction and communication required with the entire Business Administration team and with the National Managers, Regional Managers, Supervisors, Team Assistants and Subcontractors.
Qualification Profile:
• Two (2) years experience in telecom Business Administration related project management
• Strong understanding of local legal processes.
• Highly intelligent and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Accurate, reliable, self-confident and firm.
• Excellent negotiation skills
