If your answer is YES, then this may be the role for you. We are looking for high calibre graduates from any degree discipline to join a truly FAST-TRACK Management Trainee Programme.

Management Trainee Programme

The programme runs up to 24 months and is tailored to suit your career aspirations and motivations. At the start of the programme you will have an opportunity to select the area in which you would like to develop your career. These areas include: Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal and Corporate and Regulatory Affairs.  You will be involved in 4 or more key job rotations and may have an opportunity of an international placement to ensure that you have a global view of the organisation. There is also an option for you to have a secondment into another function to broaden your skill-set. You will be heavily supported through the two year programme with line manager, coach and mentor. You will be able to participate in different functional and leadership training. However, you will also be set clear objectives for each placement and will be expected to deliver these to remain on the fast-track programme. After you finish the programme you will be in a position to take on a Junior Management Position and carry on your accelerated career path. The hope is that you will achieve a Senior Management Position within 10 years. 

What are we looking for from you?

We are looking for proven academic excellence, particularly at Masters degree level. The programme will be challenging and we need individuals who are driven to succeed but can also work successfully within a team. Collaborationis a key value within British American Tobacco so proven teamwork achievement is a must. Although work experience is not essential, we would like to see some evidence of commercial awareness and an ability to articulate this confidently.  Given the nature of British American Tobacco, you will need to be internationally mobile throughout the two years and have a strong command of English.
